How a Pandemic Project Became a Biscuit Company

How a Pandemic Project Became a Biscuit Company

How a Pandemic Project Became a Biscuit Company

Like many, in March 2020, our chef found himself in a time of great uncertainty and global crisis. A seasoned restaurant manager and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, the pandemic was not about to hinder his culinary creativity. With his passion for experimenting, he came up with a buttery, flaky, melt-in-your-mouth creation and knew these biscuits needed to be shared with the world.

Sharing this idea over a biscuit tasting with his friend and future co-founder, District Biscuit Company was founded.  Ever since, these biscuits have been winning over those who try them layer by layer, bite by bite.

Baking - Frozen Biscuit Dough

Preheat oven to 425*.

Cover sheet pan with a layer of parchment paper.

Place biscuits one inch apart and bake for 15 minutes.

Adjust temperature to 400*.

Rotate the pan and bake for an additional 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy.

*Reduce temperature by 25 degrees when using a convection oven

Note: Ovens can very in settings, please keep an eye on the biscuits.

Reheating - Fresh or Frozen Baked Biscuits

We recommend reheating biscuits from room temperature.

Biscuits can be kept in the refrigerator in a sealed container or Ziplock bag for up to 30 days.

Biscuits may be kept in the freezer for up to 6 months in a freezer safe container or Ziplock bag. Remove biscuits from the freezer at least two hours before baking.

Take the biscuits out of the refrigerator 30-40 minutes before placing in an over or air fryer.

Oven: Wrap in foil and place in oven at 280 for 10-15 minutes.

Air Fryer: Place in Air Fryer at 280 for 8 minutes checking after 6 minutes.

We do not recommend reheating in a Microwave.
